Quality Assurance Program

Our approach to quality is two-fold. One aspect is internally embedded within the day-to-day project management of an engagement in the form of quality planning using a Quality and Risk Management approach (QRM). Our QRM plan issued at task order inception, will provide a framework for controlling quality on a project, monitoring risks, and helping to outline processes and set expectations early in the project lifecycle. The second aspect of our approach is a rigorous program of internal and external reviews of project management, design decisions and deliverables using cost and schedule management control systems. This is carried out internally by our senior management team, including our subcontractor senior leadership on a specific project, and is supplemented by independent review from senior iLuMinA subject matter experts external to the project as necessary. Our QRM process is consistent with the standard practices of IEEE and the CMMI. Our Quality Management model has three main components: quality control, quality assurance and quality improvement and integrates the major components of an overall project, including Risk Management and Project Management.
