iLuMinA Solutions is proud to highlight our SeaPort-e Team’s Work Experience. We currently provide support in Zone 1 – Northeast, Zone 2 – National Capital, Zone 3 – Mid Atlantic, & Zone 4 – Gulf Coast as identified below:
3.1 Research and Development Support (Zone 2)
The iLuMinA Team members have been instrumental in planning, engineering, and execution management of multiple technology demonstrations, assessments of systems and subsystems requirements, and/or proof-of-concept initiatives. As a result of these research and development efforts led by iLuMinA, we have helped the Government to determine the best return on investment alternatives on potential new capabilities and on improvements to current systems capabilities that directly support the warfighter.
3.2 Engineering, Systems Engineering and Process Engineering Support (Zone 2)
The iLuMinA Team has demonstrated significant leadership and technical expertise in systems and process engineering at various DoD projects. Our over 20 years of experience with the DoD 5000.2 system development lifecycle framework extends through the various systems engineering processes of multiple major DoD ACAT 1 programs and is demonstrated in the following areas: requirements management, risk management, configuration management, interface management, and DoD 5000 program technical reviews.
3.3 Modeling, Simulation, Stimulation, and Analysis Support (Zone 2)
The iLuMinA Team has supported the design and maintenance of enterprise architectures for several IT initiatives and systems. Our support for enterprise architecture includes the facilitating, capturing and analyzing of the current business processes as well as promoting business process redesign for use across multiple DoD activities.
3.5 System Design Documentation and Technical Data Support (Zone 2)
The iLuMinATeam currently provides technical development reviews and oversight of program technical design documents to various DoD IT programs. We review High Level Designs (HLD) and/or Functional Design Specifications (FDS) as well as Technical Design Specifications (TDS) to validate estimated-hours for development objects and that the design documents are in compliance with the program development standards.
3.6 Software Engineering, Development, Programming and Network Support (Zone 2)
The iLuMinA Team has 20 years of experience in providing Software Engineering, Development, Programming, and Network Support and applying Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model (CMM) Level 3 software development best practices across a myriad of DoD programs.
3.10 Configuration Management (CM) Support (Zone 2)
The iLuMinA Team institutes industry best practices for configuration management in accordance with CMMI-DEV v1.2 (Capability Maturity Model Integration-Development), ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), and ANSI/GEIA EIA-649-A (American National Standards Institute/Electronic Industries Alliance Standard 649-A). We focus on the functional integrity of the system by managing the Technical Data Package, Configuration Items and Business Rules, and are responsible for facilitation of Change Control Board (CCB) and Configuration Management Board (CMB) meetings.
3.11 Quality Assurance (QA) Support (Zone 2)
The iLuMinA Team provides the oversight to support compliance with DoD 5000 best practices, International Standards Organization (ISO) 9002-like standards, Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Std 12207 and CMMI Level 3. We work to ensure that the objectives of each test community (Developmental Test (DT), Operational Test (OT), and Joint Interoperability Tests Command (JITC)) are met and the system meets quality standards.
